Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there. Mt 19:13-15

God has brought me full circle! I came to First Presbyterian church 10 years ago with a wonderful husband and 3 small children (Kristen, Daniel and Kathryn). Volunteering in the nursery, Sunshine Club, Children’s church and VBS came naturally for both Steve and I. Now as teenagers, my kids are the ones working with the little ones! They are a testimony for our church family, Sunday school teachers and youth leaders. The love, prayer, guidance and encouragement they have received continue to help them grow into wonderful Christian people. Experiencing the results of a successful Christian education program is motivating and inspiring! 

Now, after years of Bible Study Fellowship, teaching preschool and finally teacher certification, God has brought me back to First Pres. to complete the circle. I am very excited about working to help “the little children come” to Him.
